Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Server Management Pack for Microsoft Operations Manager 2005

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Server Management Pack for MOM 2005 monitors the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Server Application event log and performance counters. This management pack includes event rules for the Microsoft CRM Server, Exchange Router, and Windows Fax Router services. The events and performance counters monitored from each service help indicate some critical issues with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Server operations during the servicing of Microsoft CRM user requests.

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Server Management Pack provides the following features that help with:
• Monitoring of health and availability of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Server services and the services they are depended on
• Basic detection of brute force attacks and denial of service attacks
• Notification of configuration-related failures
• Performance measurement monitoring of Web application requests, e-mail messages, and fax messages processing

Welcome to the shared source sandbox for Microsoft Dynamics Snap for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This project gives you access to sources and releases for a collection of software programs for Microsoft Dynamics CRM that snap in to Microsoft Office. Microsoft Partners and other independent software vendors (ISVs) can benefit by using the shared source code in the Snap-ins that have been developed for Microsoft Office to enhance or customize the shipped solutions or to use them as examples to build new composite application for their customers.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0-Exchange E-mail Router Update

This update allows the distribution of Microsoft Dynamics CRM e-mail message forwarding rules to mailboxes that are located on computers running Exchange Server 2007.

The Microsoft® Dynamics CRM-Exchange E-mail Router (the Router) is a software component that provides an interface between the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system and Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. When the Router is installed on the same computer as Exchange 2000 or 2003, it transfers e-mail messages to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system. The Router cannot be installed on a computer that is running Exchange 2007.

The two components that are installed and configured are as follows:
 

• The Microsoft Dynamics CRM-Exchange E-mail Router Service
• The Microsoft Dynamics CRM E-mail Rule Deployment Wizard

Thanks to the feedback we’ve received from customers and partners, we were able to improve the quality of the online help for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. This download contains the online help update, which includes corrections and new content based on the feedback we received between December 2005 and April 2006. You’ll find expanded information and clarifications in many existing topics, and more than 50 new troubleshooting topics.

You can use this download to view Microsoft CRM 3.0 online Help on a computer that does not have Microsoft CRM installed, or to replace the help files on your Microsoft CRM server and on any computers running the Microsoft CRM laptop client for Microsoft Office Outlook.
